Contra indications for Dermaplaning :

  •  1st Trimester of pregnancy

  • Auto- Immune disease e.g.  Addison’s Disease, Graves’ Disease, Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis

  • Insulin dependent diabetics

  • Active shingles

  • Haemophiliacs

  • Clients taking blood thinners, e.g. Apixaban, Dabigatran, Heparin, Rivaroxaban or Warfarin

  • Clients taking prescription medication for acne (such as Roaccutane)

  • Infectious/contagious diseases

  • Undiagnosed lumps/swellings

  • Clients allergic to nickel or stainless steel

  • Thin, weak or delicate skin

 

DERMAPLANING

Manual exfoliation of the epidermis with a custom dermaplaning blade which will remove peach fuzz and dead skin cells, leaving skin radiant and glowing. Increases absorption of topical products.
